Resumo: | The research “Water and Environmental Education: Didactic Activity in a Water Treatment Station” evaluated the didactic activity effect of visitation in a plant, by students of the fourth year elementary of the Imaculada Conceição School - Dois Irmãos/RS, as auxiliary tool to learning in environmental education. It is a case study with quantitative research, quantifying the answers obtained in the questionnaire, in the diagnostic evaluation and in the post-test in percentages and qualitative when analyzing the answer types and the activity performed. The results indicated that didactic activities such as the one carried out in this research can contribute to the learning process, enhancing the understanding of concepts and contents related to water and also help in the sensitization and multiplication of the concepts learned. |

A pesquisa “Água e Educação Ambiental: Atividade didática em uma Estação de Tratamento de Água” avaliou o efeito da atividade didática de visitação de estudantes do quarto ano do ensino fundamental da Escola Imaculada Conceição de Dois Irmãos/RS a uma ETA como ferramenta de auxílio nas aprendizagens relativas à educação ambiental. Trata-se de um estudo de caso, com pesquisa de natureza quantitativa, ao quantificar as respostas obtidas no questionário, na avaliação diagnóstica e no pós-teste em porcentagens e qualitativa ao analisar o tipo de resposta dada e a atividade realizada.
