Deaf and learning mediated by technological resources in higher education

Resumo: | This research brings as an object of research the perceptions of deaf students (users of the Brazilian Sign Language and / or Portuguese Oral Language) about learning mediated by technological resources in Higher Education. This study was developed with three deaf students from the Letters-Libras-Foreign Language Course offered by the Federal University of the Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB), at the Center for Teacher Training, located in the city of Amargosa-Ba. perception of deaf students of UFRB about the learning mediated by technological resources used in their graduation process of this Federal Educational Institution. The methodological choice, of a qualitative nature, defines the way of the case study using semi-structured interview as a research tool. Among the authors who supported this discussion, the following stand out: Vygotsky (1991, 2010); Nóbrega (2016); Corradi (2007, 2011); Galvão Filho (2009); Rocha e Miranda (2009); Stumpf (2010), among other authors that deal with the relevance of technological resources and pedagogical mediation for deaf students. The results of this research showed that, according to the perceptions of deaf students, some teachers use technological resources as potentializers in the learning process of these deaf academics, favoring the involvement and participation of them in Higher Education. These resources were recognized by the deaf participants of the research as facilitators of the learning process, although this is a practice adopted by the teachers. |

Este estudio fue desarrollado junto a tres estudiantes sordos del Curso Letras-Libras-Lengua Extranjera ofrecido por la Universidad Federal del Recôncavo de Bahía (UFRB), en el Centro de Formación de Profesores, ubicado en la ciudad de Amargosa-Ba, y tuvo como objetivo analizar la " la percepción de estudiantes sordos de la UFRB acerca del aprendizaje mediado por recursos tecnológicos utilizados en su proceso de graduación de esta Institución Federal de Enseñanza. La elección metodológica, de naturaleza cualitativa, define el camino del estudio de caso con el uso de la entrevista semiestructurada como instrumento de investigación. Entre los autores que subsidiaron esa discusión, se destacan: Vygotsky (1991, 2010); Nóbrega (2016); Corradi (2007, 2011); Galvão Filho (2009); Rocha e Miranda (2009); Stumpf (2010); entre otros autores que abordan acerca de la relevancia de los recursos tecnológicos y de la mediación pedagógica para estudiantes sordos. Los resultados de esta investigación demostraron que, según las percepciones de los estudiantes sordos, algunos docentes utilizan recursos tecnológicos como potencializadores en el proceso de aprendizaje de esos académicos sordos, favoreciendo la participación y participación de ellos en la Educación Superior. Tales recursos fueron reconocidos por los sordos participantes de la investigación como favorecedores del proceso de aprendizaje, aunque ésta es una práctica adoptada por parte de los docentes.Resumo- Esta pesquisa traz como objeto de investigação as percepções de estudantes surdos (usuários da Língua Brasileira de Sinais e/ou da Língua Portuguesa Oral) acerca da aprendizagem mediada por recursos tecnológicos na Educação Superior. Esse estudo foi desenvolvido junto a três estudantes surdos do Curso Letras-Libras-Língua Estrangeira ofertado pela Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB), no Centro de Formação de Professores, localizado na cidade de Amargosa-Ba, e teve como objetivo analisar a percepção de estudantes surdos da UFRB acerca da aprendizagem mediada por recursos tecnológicos utilizados no seu processo de graduação desta Instituição Federal de Ensino. A escolha metodológica, de natureza qualitativa, define o caminho do estudo de caso com uso da entrevista semiestruturada como instrumento de investigação. Dentre os autores que subsidiaram essa discussão, destacam-se: Vygotsky (1991, 2010); Nóbrega (2016); Corradi (2007, 2011); Galvão Filho (2014); Stumpf (2010); dentre outros autores que abordam acerca da relevância dos recursos tecnológicos e da mediação pedagógica para estudantes surdos. Os resultados dessa pesquisa demonstraram que, segundo as percepções dos estudantes surdos, alguns docentes utilizam recursos tecnológicos como potencializadores no processo de aprendizagem desses acadêmicos surdos, favorecendo o envolvimento e participação deles na Educação Superior.
