Resumo: The purpose of this article is to report the results of an analysis of gestures undertaken by a teacher in an elementary school in a poems workshop. Inserted in the area of applied linguistics, the object of this research were the founding and specific gestures highlighted in the observable discursive movements of the teacher in transforming something to be learned into something taught. Using as analytical categories the macro preoccupations of the professional agenda (BUCHETON; SOULÉ, 2009) and the didactic activities (AEBY-DAGHÉ; DOLZ, 2008; NASCIMENTO, 2014), the results point towards a variety of activities uses, especially, the presentification of the didacticize object of knowledge.

Inserida na área da Linguística Aplicada, o objeto da pesquisa foram os gestos fundadores e específicos evidenciados nos movimentos discursivos observáveis da professora ao transformar um objeto a aprender em um objeto ensinado.
