Resumo: This study is an invitation to reflect on the teachings of Carlos Rodrigues Brandão. In this sense, we propose to present reflections on the praxis of Participant Research from Popular Education and Agroecology in the light of dialogues with Carlos Rodrigues Brandão. Considering that Popular Education and Agroecology manifest themselves as foundations of what we will call a society project, we constructed a dissertation essay based on theoretical, practical and epistemological bases, based on a framework of works by educator Brandão (1985, 1986, 1995, 2002, 2007, 2014) and other scholars. We are also based on experiences carried out in the Agroecological Territory of Borborema, in Paraíba. Such experiences - teaching, research and extension - are understood as instruments of class resistance, based on popular participation. We point out here a bias that breaks the logic for and begins to build with, from perspectives coming from different spaces for the construction of agroecological knowledge and the dialogue of knowledge, these, which materialize in the territories and wanderings of popular educator Carlos Rodrigues Brandão, in his life and work.

En este sentido, proponemos presentar reflexiones sobre la praxis de la Investigación Participativa desde la Educación Popular y la Agroecología a la luz de diálogos con Carlos Rodrigues Brandão. Considerando que la Educación Popular y la Agroecología se manifiestan como fundamentos de lo que llamaremos un proyecto de sociedad, construimos un ensayo de disertación basado en bases teóricas, prácticas y epistemológicas, a partir del marco de los trabajos del educador Brandão (1985, 1986, 1995, 2002, 2007) y otros académicos. También nos basamos en experiencias realizadas en el Territorio Agroecológico de Borborema, en Paraíba. Tales experiencias - enseñanza, investigación y extensión - se entienden como instrumentos de resistencia de clase, basados ​​en la participación popular. Señalamos aquí un sesgo que rompe la lógica y comienza a construir, desde perspectivas provenientes de diferentes espacios de construcción de saberes agroecológicos y de diálogo de saberes, estos, que se materializan en los territorios y andanzas del educador popular Carlos Rodrigues Brandão, en su vida y obra.Esse estudo é um convite a refletir sobre os ensinamentos de Carlos Rodrigues Brandão. Nesse sentido, propomo-nos a apresentar reflexões sobre a práxis da Pesquisa Participante a partir da Educação Popular e da Agroecologia sob a luz dos diálogos com Carlos Rodrigues Brandão. Considerando que a Educação Popular e a Agroecologia manifestam-se enquanto alicerces do que vamos chamar de projeto de sociedade, construímos um ensaio dissertativo a partir de bases teórica, prática e epistemológica, fundamentado em um arcabouço de obras do educador Brandão (1985, 1986, 1995, 2002, 2007) e outros estudiosos. Pautamo-nos também nas experiências realizadas no Território Agroecológico da Borborema, na Paraíba. Tais experiências – de ensino, pesquisa e extensão – são compreendidas enquanto instrumentos de resistência de classe, pautadas na participação popular.
