Resumo: | Contemporary problems of rural areas in Mexico were summed up for a long time in the struggle for access to land. Article 27 of the 1917 Constitution, approved during the Mexican Revolution (1910-1918), temporarily mitigated this demand. The Agrarian Reform applied since the thirties of the 20th century, however, did not succeed in overcoming the endemic problem of poverty in the rural world. Sixty years later, the crisis in the Mexican countryside was thought to be overcome by liberalizing the land market. Currently, one hundred years after the approval of the revolutionary Constitution, a new demand arises in the Mexican countryside: the defense of the territory. |
