The demand of the right to basic education in Brazil: “state of art” of theses and dissertations from 1988 to 2018

Resumo: This article presents a mapping of the scientific knowledge productions about the demand of the right to basic education in doctoral’s theses and in master's dissertations, from 1988 to 2018, available at the Bank of Theses and Dissertations of the Coordination for the Improvement of Personnel of Level Superior - Capes. The methodology, called “State of Art”, allowed, in addition to mapping, the contextualization and problematization of what was produced on the subject. 73 papers were analyzed in five thematic groups. The results point to an increase in production on the subject. It is noteworthy that the stage of Early Childhood Education is the most recurrent subject analyzed in the productions, and the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the institution that stands out the most in the performance to guarantee the right to education.

La méthode de l’état de l’art a permis la contextualisation et la problématisation de ce qui était écrit sur le thème. 73 articles ont été analysés dans cinq groupes thématiques. Les résultats indiquent une augmentation de la production sur le sujet. L'éducation de la petite enfance est le thème le plus récurrent analysé dans les recherches et le Ministère Public est l'institution qui se démarque le plus pour garantir le droit à l'éducation.Este artigo apresenta um mapeamento da produção do conhecimento científico sobre a exigibilidade do direito à educação básica em teses de doutorado e em dissertações de mestrado, no período de 1988 a 2018, disponíveis no Banco de Teses e Dissertações da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior – Capes. A metodologia utilizada, chamada Estado da Arte, permitiu, além do mapeamento, a contextualização e a problematização do que foi produzido sobre o tema. Foram analisados 73 trabalhos em cinco grupos temáticos. Os resultados apontam para um aumento da produção sobre o tema.
