Resumo: The cotton crop is one of the most cultivated species in the world. The incidence of fungi can be destructive to the crop. Fusarium semitectum and Penicillium spp deserve attention due to their pathogenicity of causing damage to cotton. Thus, the objective of this work was to evaluate the efficiency of fungicides against the incidence of Pinicillium spp and Fusarium semitectum fungi. The work was carried out at the Laboratory of Mycology and Plant Protection - LAMIP, of the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, of the Federal University of Uberlândia. A workbench representing the necessary operational conditions was used. Cultivars FM 978 GLTP and FM 985 GLTP were used, submitted to the use of 13 different treatments, namely: Control, Vesatilis ®, Prevenil® Serenade® Score® Fox® Biofac® Redogp® Adagro® Cercobim® Evolution® Fezangold® and Pirolhenoso. ®, using two repetitions with 50 seeds for each treatment, totaling 100 seeds. After 10 days, an evaluation of the treatments was carried out using a microscope. The data were submitted to analysis of variance, using the F test, applying the Scott-Knott test, at 5% probability, to compare means, with the aid of the Genes program. It was concluded that more specific fungicides, such as systemic fungicides, were more difficult to control fungi in seeds, as they have high specificity, acting on specific pathogens; systemic fungicides when added to contact fungicides can generate better control over fungi and Penicillium spp showed a higher incidence of fungi when compared to Fusarium semitectum
