Resumo: In 2019, the first case of the new Coronavirus (Covid-19) was identified in China, which spread rapidly throughout the world, reaching Brazil in 2020. Since then, schools have started to offer an emergency teaching modality for all students of basic education. This work aims to analyze through research the scenario of the COVID-19 pandemic in public early childhood education in Brazil, trying to analyze through bibliographical and documentary reference what impacts are caused to students at this level of education in Brazilian public schools, with regard to consequences of this emergency modality. The research was carried out based on bibliographical and documental research, the applied methodology was through analysis of documents referring to the pandemic. It is concluded that, through bibliographical research, the pandemic period affects us and will leave marks in the trajectory of children's education, as emergency education was carried out without the necessary material conditions, nor without considering the inequalities present in Brazil. A series of discussions can then arise from this scenario, questions about how will the teaching of these children be? Did the teachers provide assistance to all the children? Was there quality in teaching? Did the children learn anything? At that moment, what we can actually say is that social inequality became more visible and that many schools with their teaching staff tried their best to make all these inquiries positive, and that even so, it was not enough.

Desde então as escolas começaram a oferecer uma modalidade de ensino emergencial para todos os alunos da educação básica. Esse trabalho objetiva analisar por meio de pesquisas o cenário da pandemia COVID-19 na Educação Infantil pública brasileira, tentando analisar por meio de referência bibliográfica e documental quais os impactos causados aos alunos desse nível de ensino nas escolas públicas brasileiras, no que se refere as consequências dessa modalidade emergencial. A pesquisa foi realizada com base em pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, a metodologia aplicada foi por meio de análises de documentos referentes a pandemia. Conclui-se que por meio de pesquisas bibliográficas que o período pandêmico nos afeta e deixará marcas na trajetória da educação das crianças, pois o ensino emergencial foi realizado sem as condições materiais necessárias e tampouco sem considerar as desigualdades presentes no Brasil. Uma série de discussões poderá então surgir a partir desse cenário, questões sobre como ficará o ensino dessas crianças? Os professores prestaram assistências a todas as crianças? Teve qualidade no ensino? As crianças aprenderam alguma coisa?
