Composição e estrutura do estrato regenerativo da mata de galeria inundável da Fazenda Marileuza, Uberlândia/MG

Resumo: This study was carried out with objective to know the struture and trees regeneration potential of a fooddable gallery forest. We made a phytossociological inventorie sampling 20 plots of 10 X lOm. The sample included alt individuais height > lm that not included in the canopy stratum (individuais with circunference at breast height (cbh) > 15 cm). Survey recorded 2438 individuais included in 37 species and 37 families, with total density of 12.190ind/ha. The fíve species more important were: Xylopia emarginata (77.34), Miconia chcimissois (39,45), Calophyllum brasiliense (36.14), Protium heptaphyllum (24.02) and Guarea kunthiana (23.03), totaling 66.66% of importance index (IVI). The Shannon & Wienner index (H') found it was 2.14nats/ind, considered low with is low when compared to other at Brazilian forests. A comparison of the present data with a previous canopy layer survey showed that the forest is regenerating, at least partially, with a different composition, because the species presented with higher IVI in the current canopy layer, as: Richeria grandis and Ferdinandusa speciosa, presented low IVI in the regeneration. On the other hand, Síyrax camporum and Guarea kunthiana, common in the present survey apparently assume important position in the future canopy layer. The low floristic diversity of this area reflects the restrictive environmental conditions, above all for the permanently water saturated.

The low floristic diversity of this area reflects the restrictive environmental conditions, above all for the permanently water saturated.Dissertação (Mestrado)Com o objetivo de conhecer a composição, estrutura e regeneração de uma mata de galeria inundável foi realizado levantamento fítossociológico do estrato regenerativo (indivíduos com pelo menos lm de altura, até o limite dos indivíduos incluídos no levantamento fítossociológico do estrato arbóreo acima de 15cm de circunferência, medida à altura do peito-l,30m). A amostragem de campo foi realizada em 20 parcelas de lOm x lOm, sorteadas a partir de um total de 62, distribuídas sistematicamente na área, em transectos transversais à drenagem. Os indivíduos que atendiam aos requisitos de altura e diâmetro definidos acima, tiveram medidos o diâmetro na base da planta, com paquímetro e a altura, por uma régua graduada. Foram amostrados 2438 indivíduos, incluídos em 37 espécies e 23 famílias, com densidade total de 12.190 ind./ ha. As cinco espécies com maior índice de importância (IVI) foram: Xylopia emarginata (77,34), Miconia chcimissoxs (39,45), Ccilophyllum brasiliense (36,14), Protium heptciphylhim (24,02) e Guarea kunthiana (23,03), totalizando 66,66% do IVI total. O índice de Shannon & Wienner (H1) encontrado foi 2,14nats/ ind., considerado baixo comparado aos encontrados em outras florestas do Brasil. Comparando estes dados com os do estrato arbóreo existente, concluiu-se que a mata está se recompondo com composição diferente, visto que as espécies que apresentaram alto IVI no estrato arbóreo atual como: Richeria grandis e Ferdinandusa speciosa, apresentaram-se com IVI baixos no estrato regenerativo. Por outro lado, as espécies Styrax camporum e Guarea kunthiana, aparentemente serão mais importantes futuramente.
