Resumo: This research aims to analyze if the Nexo Jornal website has approached the editorial line of a traditional vehicle over time and if there is a modification of the contents treatment. For this, it analyzes the discourse present in six journalistic contents published by the independent newspaper Nexo, in the years 2016 and 2017. The selection is based from a manual search performed by vehicle page on Facebook, through the keywords "minorities", "poverty" and "inequality ". As a theoretical contribution, the work uses authors of journalism theories and the area of new business models. The methodology used is the Discourse Analysis (AD), by Eliseo Verón, through an interpretative analysis of the selected material. It is concluded that the journal Nexo remains free in the concepts of politics and editorial guideline and frequently deals in its contents themes related to humanitarian and social causes.

A seleção ocorreu a partir de uma busca manual realizada na página do veículo no Facebook, através das palavras-chave “minorias”, “pobreza” e “desigualdade”. Como aporte teórico, o trabalho utiliza autores das teorias do jornalismo e do campo dos novos modelos de negócio. A metodologia utilizada é a Análise de Discurso (AD), a partir da perspectiva de Eliseo Verón, por meio de uma análise interpretativa do material selecionado. Conclui-se que o Jornal Nexo permanece livre em relação aos seus conceitos de política e linha editoriais e tem autonomia na escolha das pautas tratadas.
