Perfil formativo dos professores de química da Mesorregião do Triângulo Mineiro e Alto Paranaíba

For decades, education in Brazil has raised major concerns, especially about the quality of education, the training of teachers, the entry and stay of students in undergraduate courses, the valuation of the profession, working conditions and incentives training. It is, in this sense, that this work walks; therefore, does a survey of the Professional Profile of the Professors of Chemistry of the Mesoregion of the Triângulo Mineiro and Alto Paranaíba of the State of Minas Gerais. The Professional Profile was traced by the content analysis method of the Observatory Platform of the PNE, in which the training of the chemistry teachers of that Meso-region was analyzed (Goal 15, of the National Education Plan). The Meso-region presented results above the average of the State of Minas Gerais, Southeast and Country, Brazil. Thus, 71.76% of the teachers who work as professors of the chemistry discipline in the cities of the Triângulo Mineiro and Alto Paranaíba have a baccalaureate with pedagogical complementation in the area of performance, while in the State this percentage is 63.88 %, in the Southeast Region is 55.59% and in Brazil the numbers are 44.63% of professionals. To conduct the discussion of these results it was also necessary to carry out the survey of the Training Centers of chemistry in the region and type of training offered, of the 73 Higher Education Institutions that offer the course of chemistry in the Mesoregion, 76.71% are undergraduate courses.
