Resumo: This is an integrative literature review, whose data collection took place online, from November to December 2020, in the CINAHL, COCHRANE, Embase, LILACS, Pubmed, SCOPUS and Web of Science databases, via the CAPES portal. As a search strategy, controlled descriptors were identified in the Health Science Descriptors (DECs): accidents caused by falls; security management; newborn, and Medical Subject Headings (MESH): accidental falls; safety management; infant, newborn, with subsequent combination of them by OR and AND Boolean operators.
