Resumo: The BIM methodology is a much needed topic in the field of construction, with a focus on the disciplines of architecture, electrical, plumbing and fire. In this work, the application of BIM was developed in a project made in a supermarket with the objective of optimizing the time spent on the project, in addition to the cost and its higher quality. The software used was Revit, which allows modeling in 3D, in addition to the lists of materials, that is, the quantity in the same tool. In addition, to implement the SPDA, the risk area, need for protection, type of protection must be evaluated, for this it is necessary to follow the ABNT standards NBR 5419 of 2015 in order to have security to build this enterprise. The project made is a supermarket that has only the ground floor and with that it had designers from different disciplines, in addition to the help of the construction company responsible for the work. It is concluded, therefore, that the advancement of BIM in the area of SPDA projects is extremely important as it brings an efficient, economical and safe result to the client
