Resumo: The learning of process control is fundamental in the formation of Chemical Engineering and the practice of control contributes to this formation a lot. In order to effectively assist in the learning of process control this work presents the development of a low-cost data acquisition and control system using a matlab simulink environment and an Arduino. The System was developed for a level control plant and will be used in process control classes. The communication between the plant-arduino-software proved to be efficient as demonstrated in a control application using the shooting technique for PID controller tuning.

A fim de auxiliar de forma efetiva a aprendizagem de controle de processos este trabalho apresenta o desenvolvimento de um sistema, de baixo custo, de aquisição de dados e controle utilizandoo ambiente simulink do matlab e um Arduino. O Sistema foi desenvolvido para uma planta de controle de nível e será utilizado em aulas de controle de processos.
