Resumo: | Peltophorum dubium (Canafístula) is a Fabaceae-Caesalpinioideae, with fast growth and rusticity. Just as Senna macranthera (Fedegoso), which have large natural occurrence, both species has great potential for use in the recovery of degraded areas. Due to the great need of information about the nutrition of the forest species, the effect of doses of N, P, K, Ca, Mg and S on the growth, biomass production, and on the indexes of quality of seedlings H/D, H/MSPA, MSPA/MSR and IQD of this two species was evaluated. In the work made in a vegetation house, was used samples of a dystrophic red-yellow latosol; an allic red-yellow latosol and a red-yellow paleudalfsoil, retreats of the layer below 20 cm, air dry, drizzled and chemically characterized. The work was delimited through a baconiana matrix, being evaluated three doses of the six macronutrientes and two additional treatments, one with reference doses and other without addition of nutrients. Completely randomized design was adopted with 4 repetitions, in a total of 240 sample units to each one of the studied species. The plants were picked and was verified through analysis of the ortogonais contrasts a significant answer of all the variables studied to the application of the macronutrientes, except for the relationship H/D in the red-yellow latossolo álico and for the treatments P, Ca and S in the red-yellow argissolo. It was not possible to determine for all the different analyzed variables, the critical dose (DC) of the nutrients, being still verified the need of larger differentiation among the doses tested to obtain larger efficiency in the determination of DC. Being used a witness by tested nutrient can still be had a better vision of what happens with the Peltophorum dubium and Senna macranthera plants in response to the addition of the same ones. Interestingly even in the case of Senna macranthera, increasing the experimental trial, due to slower growth recorded in the species, compared to the others already studied. |

Da mesma forma que Senna macranthera (Fedegoso), que têm grande ocorrência natural, ambas as espécies tem grande potencial para uso na recuperação de áreas degradadas. Devido à grande necessidade de informações sobre a nutrição de espécies florestais, avaliou-se o efeito de doses de N, P, K, Ca, Mg e S sobre o crescimento, produção de biomassa e sobre os índices de qualidade de mudas H/D, H/MSPA, MSPA/MSR e IQD das espécies estudadas. No trabalho conduzido em casa de vegetação foram utilizadas amostras de Latossolo vermelho amarelo distrófico, Latossolo vermelho amarelo álico e Argissolo vermelho amarelo, retiradas da camada abaixo de 20 cm, secos ao ar, peneirados e caracterizados quimicamente. Delimitou-se o trabalho por meio de uma matriz baconiana, avaliando-se três doses dos seis macronutrientes e dois tratamentos adicionais, um com doses de referência e outro sem adição de nutrientes. Adotou-se o delineamento inteiramente casualizado com 4 repetições, num total de 240 unidades amostrais para cada uma das espécies estudadas. Colhidas as plantas, verificou-se, através de análise dos contrastes ortogonais, resposta significativa de todas as variáveis estudadas à aplicação dos macronutrientes, com exceção da relação H/D no latossolo vermelho-amarelo álico e, para os tratamentos P, Ca e S no argissolo vermelho-amarelo. Não foi possível determinar para todas as diferentes variáveis analisadas, a dose crítica (DC) dos nutrientes, verificando-se, ainda, a necessidade de maior diferenciação entre as doses testadas para obter maior eficiência na determinação de DC. O uso de uma testemunha por nutriente testado permitirá uma melhor visão do que ocorre com as plantas de Peltophorum dubium e Senna macranthera em resposta à adição dos mesmos.
