Resumo: | This research presents a methodological proposal for obtaining of the vertical deflection to a station located in the Campus of Viçosa Federal University. The conventional methods of determination of the vertical deflection use the laborious astronomical observations. The methodology here proposed uses topographical observations and GPS positioning satellites observations. The basis of the method is the geometric transformation between the Local Geodesic System and the Local Astronomical System. LGS is linked to the normal, while the LPS is linked to the vertical. The transformation model use rotation matrices with following parameters ξ,η e ε. The ξ, η are the main components of the vertical deflection, and they refer to the meridian section and the first vertical section respectively. The third parameter is an horizontal orientation. From the topographical coordinates LPS - and coordinates in LGS - of 6 station of a network it is possible to determine the three transformation parameters on a station, obtaining the vertical deflection consequently. With these 3 known parameters it can change coordinates between LPS and LGS. For the network tested was obtained a vertical deflection of 14,83" in the station P0, origin of the systems LGS and LPS. The standard deviations of the components of vertical deflection were 14,46" and 3,28" for the meridian section and the first vertical section respectively. The methodology proposed was capable to determine the vertical deflection, providing a mathematical model that interconnects LGS and LPS considering the vertical deflection. |
