Resumo: The purpose of the text is to reflect on the current challenges of the struggle for the democratization of access/permanence in the land, in the face of the dismantling of the agrarian reform policy carried out by the federal government in the last 10 years. The agrarian counter-reform policy, made explicit by the high rates of violence and murders in the countryside, associated with the lack of budgetary incentives for the development of the set of public policies (from the acquisition of land to the set of public policies that enable access and permanence in the land - housing, food production and marketing, health policies, etc.) – lead us to reflect on the existence of a crisis of the State and democracy.

La política de contrarreforma agraria, explicitada por los altos índices de violencia y asesinatos en el campo, asociada a la falta de incentivos presupuestarios para el desarrollo del conjunto de políticas públicas (desde la adquisición de tierras hasta el conjunto de políticas públicas que permitir el acceso y la permanencia en la tierra – vivienda, producción y comercialización de alimentos, políticas de salud, etc.) – nos llevan a reflexionar sobre la existencia de una crisis del Estado y de la democracia.O objetivo do texto é refletir sobre os desafios atuais da luta pela democratização do acesso/ permanência na terra, frente ao desmonte da política de reforma agrária efetivado pelo governo federal nos últimos 10 anos.
