Considerando que as mulheres ao longo do tempo têm sido membros tangenciais da força de trabalho, devido ao processo social construídos, e as características do mercado de trabalho do turismo indicam que o setor deveria absorver quantitativamente a mão-de-obra feminina. A partir desse pressuposto o estudo procurou averiguar se o turismo tem contribuído para eliminar as desigualdades entre homens e mulheres, incluindo-as no mercado de trabalho em iguais condições com os homens. Considering that women during the time space had been treated as a tangent member of the job’s strength, caused by the social process constituted, and the characteristics of tourism labor market shows that the sector should absorb quantitatively the women’s labour. From this purpose the study tried to verify if tourism had been contributing to eliminate the inequality between men and women, including them in the labour market in equal conditions with men.
