Resumo: ABSTRACT: This study aims to discuss the didactic-pedagogical importance of educational practices that involve the production of knowledge by students and teachers in Geography and seeking to highlight through experiences within the project Mental Maps in Geography Teaching, developed in a school public school in Delmiro Gouveia / AL participating in the Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation Scholarships (PIBID), the importance of methodological instruments that can be adopted for evaluations as long as they are playful, diagnostic and work with important contents and concepts of Geography, thus contributing to the interpretation of information and, finally, the learning of all involved. KEYWORDS: Teaching-learning process, Teaching Methodology in Geography, Assessment.
