This is a proposal for a literature review around the environmental impacts provided by the implementation of wind farms in Brazil. In this sense, the main objective of this article, taking the authors' approach option, is to present the impacts caused by the implementation of wind farms, described by the authors. This study was driven, above all, by considering wind farms as one of the most important alternatives for generating green energy, and by the high growth in the number of projects in operation and in the implementation phase. The material used for the studies of the Systematic Literature Review were the result of searches  on the CAPES/MEC journals portal. Through the inclusion criterion, articles were reached that led to discussions about the environmental impacts caused by the implementation of wind farms. This study showed that there must be a more in-depth assessment of the environmental impacts, which must be carried out with the support of resources from the energy sector itself, in order to promote sustainable growth in the contribution of this energy source in the national market of the energy matrix.
