This article intends to analyze the presence of vegetables in the novel Uma Aprendizagem ou o Livro dos Prazeres (1969), by Clarice Lispector (1920-1977). The approach takes as its perspective the dialogue with the arts of Latin American women, emphasizing the plants bias. From this aspect, the intent of the study is to interpret the plant presence as a mark of a political and liberating intent, which is configured in the discovery of the multiplicity, never of the centeredness. It is about experiences that escape from any hierarchy, establishing, for this, pleasure and affection in the face of other non-human lives. For this article, we used the reflections of Bataille (2014), Benjamin (2019), Coccia (2010; 2018), Foucault (1994), Nascimento (2021), Guimarães (2020), among others.
