Resumo: In this paper I analyse Carmen da Silva’s career as a writer in Claudia Magazine from 1963 to 1985, with the aim of tracing the path she went through before starting the section “The Art of Being a Woman”, and then understanding her role and her presence in the magazine as a thinker who debated themes in a critical manner that was often contradictory to the magazine's policies.
