Learning process based on the Living Learning Cycle: an application to the training of Cooperativism students of the Federal University of Viçosa

Resumo: This article shows the result of an investigation carried out with undergraduate students in Cooperativism of the Federal University of Viçosa, Brazil. The objective of this study is to understand the effectiveness of Business Games [Method] through experiential learning. For most of these students, traditional teaching has been far from an appropriate educational technique. The methodological procedures were qualitative analysis, according to their nature, and exploratory concerning their classification, the delimitation is that of a case study. For the collection and interpretation of data, the game Entrepreneur Rural and two one before the application of the game and another at the end. As a result, the business game applied to the Lifelong Learning Cycle is a method of teaching and learning in the students' perception, which provides a playful and stimulating environment, in which it transcends the barriers of traditional teaching. Thus, it is considered that these methods showed applicability and feasibility, being able to be adopted by other educational institutions.

Esta investigación tiene por objetivo comprender la eficacia de los juegos de empresa mediante el aprendizaje vivencial en la formación de estos estudiantes, para lo cual la enseñanza tradicional se ha mostrado distante de esas técnicas educativas. Los procedimientos metodológicos son de análisis cualitativo, según su naturaleza, y exploratoria en lo que se refiere a su clasificación, la delimitación es de estudio de caso. Para la realización de la recolección e interpretación de los datos, se utilizó el juego Emprendedor Rural y dos formularios, siendo uno antes de la aplicación del juego y otro al final. Como resultado, el juego de empresa aplicado junto al Ciclo de Aprendizaje Vivencial es un método de enseñanza y aprendizaje en la percepción de los participantes, que proporciona un ambiente lúdico y estimulante, en el que trascienden las barreras de la enseñanza tradicional. Así, se considera que estos métodos mostraron aplicabilidad y viabilidad, pudiendo ser adoptada por otras instituciones de enseñanza.Este artigo retrata o resultado de uma pesquisa realizada com estudantes de graduação em Cooperativismo da Universidade Federal de Viçosa. Tal pesquisa tem por objetivo compreender a eficácia dos jogos de empresa por meio do aprendizado vivencial na formação destes estudantes, para qual o ensino tradicional tem se mostrado distante dessas técnicas educacionais. Os procedimentos metodológicos são de análise qualitativa, segundo sua natureza, e exploratória no que diz respeito a sua classificação, a delimitação é o de estudo de caso. Para a realização da coleta e interpretação dos dados, utilizou-se o jogo Empreendedor Rural e dois formulários, sendo um antes da aplicação do jogo e outro ao final. Como resultado o jogo de empresa aplicado junto ao Ciclo de Aprendizagem Vivencial é um método de ensino e aprendizagem na percepção dos participantes, que proporciona um ambiente lúdico e estimulante, no qual transcenda as barreiras do ensino tradicional.
