Resumo: | This article represents an effort to understand the deeper meaning of the International Monetary Fund reform announced in 2010. In view of the outbreak of the financial crisis in 2008, with its epicenter in the United States, the aim is to analytically connect the following elements: Dollar as a monetary standard, financial crisis and reform. Considering the relevance of the IMF and its role in the current scenario of deterioration in the world economy, it is significant that there is, on its part, an explicit recognition of the greater economic weight of emerging countries. When contextualizing such changes, it is inevitable to address North American hegemony, since the characteristics of the current international financial system are largely due to the active construction of the international order by that country. Understanding the scope of the reform, then, necessarily involves understanding these dynamics. Furthermore, it is also necessary to consider the impact of such a reform on the composition of the international financial architecture. |

Furthermore, it is also necessary to consider the impact of such a reform on the composition of the international financial architecture.O presente artigo representa um esforço no sentido de compreender o significado mais profundo da reforma do Fundo Monetário Internacional anunciada em 2010. Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências2021-12-20info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/aurora/article/view/269710.36311/1982-8004.2012.v6n1.2697Revista Aurora; v. 6 n. 1 (2012); 57-70Revista Aurora; Vol. 6 No. 1 (2012); 57-70Revista Aurora; Vol. 6 Núm. 1 (2012); 57-701982-80042177-0484reponame:Revista Aurora (Online)instname:Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP)instacron:UNESPporhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/aurora/article/view/2697/2121Copyright (c) 2012 Revista Aurorahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCapinzaiki, Marilia Romão2024-04-03T11:08:47Zoai:ojs.revistas.marilia.unesp.br:article/2697Revistahttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/aurora/indexPUBhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/aurora/oaiaurora.revista@gmail.com||1982-80041982-8004opendoar:2024-04-03T11:08:47Revista Aurora (Online) - Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP)false |
