Resumo: | The current job market for building technicians seeks a professional with knowledge and skills related to construction processes, enabling them to ensure the health and safety of workers, as well as encouraging the understanding and application of technical standards and skills relevant to the sustainability of the production process. In this sense, it is essential to promote innovative pedagogical practices that promote holistic training. The present study aimed to analyze the concepts of professional training and pedagogical practices in the curriculum of the technical course in buildings offered by the IFBA. This research is characterized as a qualitative study, of a documentary nature, with a case study. Data collection analyzed 8 campi through primary and secondary data. The results show that the themes and practices analyzed are still a fragmented process under construction and that, when they arise, they are incorporated in a way that is detached from the set of technical disciplines and, in some situations, far from the technological axis of the course. |

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar los conceptos de formación profesional y prácticas pedagógicas en el currículo del curso técnico en edificaciones ofrecido por el IFBA. Esta investigación se caracteriza por ser un estudio cualitativo, de carácter documental, con estudio de caso. La recolección de datos analizó 8 campi a través de datos primarios y secundarios. Los resultados muestran que los temas y prácticas analizados son aún un proceso fragmentado en construcción y que, cuando surgen, se incorporan de manera desligada del conjunto de las disciplinas técnicas y, en algunas situaciones, alejadas del eje tecnológico de las mismas.O atual mercado de trabalho do técnico em edificações busca um profissional com conhecimentos e saberes relacionados aos processos construtivos, propiciadores de assegurar a saúde e a segurança dos trabalhadores, bem como favoráveis à compreensão e aplicação das normas técnicas e competências pertinentes à sustentabilidade do processo produtivo. Neste sentido, é fundamental promover práticas pedagógicas inovadoras que promovam a formação holística. O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar as concepções da formação profissional e as práticas pedagógicas no currículo do curso técnico em edificações ofertado pelo IFBA. Esta pesquisa se caracteriza como estudo qualitativo, de caráter documental, com estudo de caso. A coleta de dados analisou 8 campi através de dados primários e secundários.
