The Value Dimension of Environmental Education (EE): Formational Aspects For A Transforming Practice

Resumo: This article has as object of reflection the socio-environmental urgencies from the articulation between the EE field of knowledge and its dimensions, the teacher training aspects for the axiological perspective development and the contemporary educational demands. We situate this research with values ​​as a constitutional dimension of the educator-environmental processes, showing its importance, we analyze its role and the mutually established relationships with the knowledge and politics dimensions that make up the environmental educational field. The values construction ​​takes place as the subjects experience situations that lead to the taking attitudes and behaviors aligned with ethical and citizen conduct, so it is essential that educational practices provide such experiences to students. In this way, we point out that the realization of potential teaching and learning situations for the values ​​demands development that the training processes for teaching go beyond the technicist/transmissive line, giving way to the continuation of practices based on the heterogeneity recognition of the educational environment, in dialogue, in the disciplinary knowledge interconnection to everyday life, in criticality, reflection and teaching autonomy. We defend the strengthening of the axiological perspective so that, combined with the other environmental educational process dimensions, the emancipatory, transformative and citizen commitments that are at the EE center are achieved.

Situamos el trabajo con valores como dimensión constituyente de los procesos educadores-ambientalistas, presentamos su relevancia, escrutamos su papel y las relaciones mutuamente establecidas con las dimensiones del conocimiento y política que integran el campo educativo ambiental. La construcción de valores se da a medida que los sujetos experimentan situaciones que suscitan la toma de actitudes y comportamientos alineados a una conducta ética y ciudadana, por lo tanto, es esencial que las prácticas educativas oportunicen tales experiencias a los estudiantes. En ese sentido, puntuamos que la efectividad de situaciones de enseñanza y aprendizaje potenciales al desarrollo de valores demanda que los procesos formativos para la docencia trasciendan la línea tecnicista/transmisiva dando rienda suelta al desarrollo de prácticas pautadas en reconocimiento de la heterogeneidad del entorno educativo, en el diálogo, en la interconexión de los saberes disciplinarios a lo cotidiano, en la criticidad, en la reflexión y en la autonomía docente. Defendemos el fortalecimiento de la perspectiva axiológica para que, conjugada a las demás dimensiones del proceso educativo ambiental, los compromisos emancipadores, transformadores y ciudadanos que se encuentran en el centro de la EA sean alcanzados.Nesse artigo tomamos como objeto de reflexão as urgências socioambientais a partir da articulação entre o campo de conhecimento da EA e suas dimensões, aos aspectos da formação docente para o desenvolvimento da perspectiva axiológica e às demandas educativas contemporâneas. Situamos o trabalho com valores enquanto dimensão constituinte dos processos educadores-ambientalistas, apresentamos sua relevância, escrutinamos seu papel e as relações mutuamente estabelecidas com as dimensões do conhecimento e política que integram o campo educativo ambiental. A construção de valores se dá à medida que os sujeitos vivenciam situações que suscitam a tomada de atitudes e comportamentos alinhados a uma conduta ética e cidadã, portanto é essencial que as práticas educativas oportunizem tais experiências aos estudantes. Nesse sentido, pontuamos que a efetivação de situações de ensino e aprendizagem potenciais ao desenvolvimento de valores demanda que os processos formativos para a docência transcendam a linha tecnicista/transmissiva dando vazão ao desenvolvimento de práticas pautadas no reconhecimento da heterogeneidade do ambiente educativo, no diálogo, na interligação dos saberes disciplinares ao cotidiano, na criticidade, na reflexão e na autonomia docente.
