BEING TEACHER AND REMAINING IN THE PROFESSION: A STUDY WITH TEACHERS FROM ELEMENTARY AND HIGH SCHOOL

Resumo: The objective of this study was to understand what is being and remaining a teacher. The research is a qualitative approach and participants are state teachers in the continuing education process by PDE (Education Development Program - Paraná). Data gathering was carried out by semi-structured interviews (N=6), and data were analyzed in the framework of discursive textual analysis. The results show that being a teacher for the subjects, is first, having a commitment, secondly being dedicated and third is always to seek education and be engaged in research and new learning; also relates to the social, covers work with the knowledge and the uncertainty of contemporaneity. On the other hand remaining a teacher was proved by the significant “transformation”. It is concluded that the investigated teachers need to account for situations that are beyond the process of teaching and learning, overcoming it and remaining a teacher engages closely with the desire to be recognized by the other.

La investigación sigue un enfoque cualitativo y los participantes son los profesores del estado en proceso en curso de la educación por el PDE (Programa de Desarrollo de la Educación - Paraná). La recolección de datos se llevó a cabo por entrevistas semiestructuradas (N=6); y el análisis de los datos se realizó con la contribución de análisis textual discursivo. Los resultados muestran que el ser un profesor para los sujetos es, en primer lugar, tener compromiso; en segundo lugar, estar dedicado; y tercero, estar siempre en buscar de una formación y dedicarse a la investigación y al nuevo aprendizaje; también se refiere a los aspectos sociales, que cubren el trabajo con el conocimiento y la incertidumbre de la Mendes, T. El maestro torreón demuestra el significativo "transformación". Se concluye que los profesores investigados deben tener en cuenta las situaciones que están fuera del proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, superarlas y seguir la enseñanza ajustándose estrechamente al deseo de ser reconocido por los otros.O objetivo do presente estudo consistiu em desvelar o ser e o manter-se professor. A pesquisa é de abordagem qualitativa e os participantes são professores estaduais em processo de formação continuada pelo PDE (Programa de Desenvolvimento Educacional – Paraná). A coleta de dados realizou-se mediante entrevistas semiestruturadas (N=6); e a análise dos dados foi sob o aporte da análise textual discursiva. Os resultados apontam que ser professor, para os sujeitos da pesquisa, é em primeiro lugar, ter comprometimento; em segundo lugar ser dedicado e em terceiro é sempre buscar formação e estar engajado em estudos e novas aprendizagens. Relaciona-se ainda com as transformações sociais, abrange trabalhar com o conhecimento e a incerteza da contemporaneidade. O manter-se professor revelou-se pelo significante “transformação”.
