Resumo: This article intends to discuss relations between memory, testimony and history, taking as object the Pierre Seel’s autobiography, Moi, Pierre Seel, déporté homosexel, survivor of the Schirmeck concentration camp, where he was imprisoned for being homosexual. It addresses the silencing, which lasted for decades after the Second World War, around the Nazi persecution of homosexuals, with the testimony being a useful resource for clarifying what runs the risk of remaining in oblivion, short of historical knowledge. As history is an area in which interests are conflicting, testimony thus reveals itself as a means of reconstructing history, bringing to light fragments that tend not to participate in hegemonic narratives. The aim of this article includes a reflexion on this issue. The text focuses on what Seel suffered in the concentration camp, as well as the consequences he faced throughout his life as a result of his imprisonment.

Aborda el silenciamiento, que se prolongó durante décadas tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial, en torno a la persecución nazi de los homosexuales, siendo el testimonio un recurso útil para esclarecer lo que corre el riesgo de quedar en el olvido, a falta de conocimiento histórico. Siendo la historia un ámbito de choque de intereses, el testimonio se revela así como un medio de reconstrucción de la historia, sacando a la luz fragmentos que tienden a no participar de las narrativas hegemónicas. El objetivo de este artículo incluye la reflexión sobre este problema. El texto se centra en lo que sufrió Seel en el campo de concentración, así como en las consecuencias que enfrentó a lo largo de su vida como consecuencia de su encarcelamiento.Este artigo pretende discutir relações entre memória, testemunho e história, tomando como objeto a autobiografia de Pierre Seel, Moi, Pierre Seel, déporté homosexel, sobrevivente do campo de concentração de Schirmeck, onde foi aprisionado por ser homossexual. Aborda-se o silenciamento, que se prolongou por décadas após a Segunda Guerra Mundial, em torno da perseguição nazista aos homossexuais, sendo o testemunho um recurso útil à iluminação daquilo que corre o risco de permanecer em esquecimento, aquém do conhecimento histórico. Sendo a história um âmbito em que interesses se confrontam, o testemunho se revela, assim, um meio de reconstrução da história, trazendo à tona fragmentos que tendem a não participar das narrativas hegemônicas. Busca-se, neste artigo, uma reflexão acerca dessa problemática.
