Male transsexuality in education: the state of the art of brazilian theoretical production

Resumo: | The present research focused on the theme of male transsexuality and Education in view of the invisibility of this theme, as discussed by several authors. Through a bibliographic study, theoretically guided by post-critical theories, we carried out a state of the art with a time frame until the year 2019. The results show us the scarce production on the theme and, in many cases, they bring research related to transmasculinities and education linked to the context of transvestites and female transsexuality, not showing the experiences of transmasculine subjects as the only protagonists of their school stories. It is concluded that more studies are needed on the subject and other intersectionalities, in addition to greater efforts in research in the North and Northeast regions, places where no publications were found. |

A través de un estudio bibliográfico, guiado teóricamente por teorías poscríticas, realizamos un estado del arte con un marco temporal hasta el año 2019. Los resultados nos muestran la escasa producción del tema y, en muchos casos, traen investigaciones relacionadas con transmasculinidades y educación vinculadas al contexto de las travestilidades y la transexualidad femenina, no mostrando las vivencias de los sujetos transmasculinos como únicos protagonistas de sus relatos escolares. Se concluye que son necesarios más estudios sobre el tema y otras interseccionalidades, además de mayores esfuerzos en investigación en las regiones Norte y Nordeste, lugares donde no se encontraron publicaciones.A presente pesquisa debruçou-se sobre a temática da transexualidade masculina e educação, tendo em vista sua invisibilidade, como discutem diversos/as autores/as. Por meio de um estudo bibliográfico, orientado pelas teorias pós-críticas, realizamos um estado da arte com recorte temporal até o ano de 2019. Os resultados mostram a escassa produção sobre a temática: muitas das pesquisas se relacionam ao contexto das travestilidades e transexualidade feminina, não evidenciando as experiências dos sujeitos transmasculinos como protagonistas de suas histórias escolares.
