Resumo: Current research analyzes the evolution of environmental law and enhances the necessary dialogue between the natural and social sciences through an investigation of the environmental impacts of development. It also details the construction of a new legal protection status that is capable of attending to several interests by creating a micro-system for the protection of the environment. Analysis demonstrates the possibility of coexistence between economic development and environmental protection for the construction of a sustainable society with regard to natural resources and the preservation of life quality. Current investigation deals with the constitutionality of environment protection and demonstrates several types of protection and environmental protection in the Brazilian legal system.

Retrata el diálogo que se hizo necesario entre las ciencias naturales y las sociales, analizando los impactos ambientales del desarrollo. Detalla la construcción de una nueva tutela jurídica que sea capaz de atender intereses difusos engendrando un microsistema para la tutela del ambiente. Demuestra la posibilidad de convivió del desarrollo económico sostenible en relación a los recursos naturales y a la preservación de la calidad de vida de las personas. Trata de la constitucionalización de la protección del medio ambiente y demuestra las distintas formas de tutela y protección ambiental en el sistema jurisdiccional brasileño.O trabalho faz uma análise da evolução do direito ambiental. Retrata o diálogo que se fez necessário entre ciências naturais e ciências sociais, analisando os impactos ambientais do desenvolvimento. Detalha a construção de uma nova tutela jurídica capaz de atender interesses difusos criando um microssistema para a tutela do ambiente. Demonstra a possibilidade da convivência do desenvolvimento econômico com a proteção ambiental de maneira a possibilitar a construção da sociedade sustentável com respeito aos recursos naturais e à preservação da qualidade de vida das pessoas.
