Some articles, even selected for full reading, after reading the abstract, were excluded for not meeting the aforementioned criteria. Results: The initial research pointed 49 articles, of which 17 were selected for the complete reading and analysis, which made up this study. The results confirmed that nursing professionals have shown physical and mental wear and tear due to their long and stressful work routines; which was aggravated by the performance in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
