Evaluation of HIV/Aids control in primary care in Palmas/TO

Resumo: Objective: To evaluate the control of HIV / AIDS offered by Primary Health Care through the perspective of higher education professionals. Method: Cross-sectional study of non-probabilistic sampling for the convenience of nurses, doctors and dentists inserted in PHC in Palmas, Tocantins through the application of an electronic questionnaire between the months of August and November 2018. The data were consolidated and analyzed by frequency. Results: Regarding the rapid tests for HIV / AIDS, 99.2% reported offering to partners of diagnosed people and 95.3% performed pre-test and post-test counseling. Regarding the management of HIV, 93% conduct an active search for people whose diagnosis was positive and did not return to receive the result, while 80.3% conduct an active search for their partners. Conclusion: The actions of education, prevention, diagnosis and treatment, although existing, still have a long way to go, as a point of investment in professional qualification for adequate assistance.

Método: estudio transversal de muestreo no probabilístico para la conveniencia de enfermeras, médicos y dentistas insertados en APS en Palmas, Tocantins mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario electrónico entre los meses de agosto y noviembre de 2018. Los datos se consolidaron y analizaron por frecuencia. Resultados: Con respecto a las pruebas rápidas para VIH / SIDA, el 99.2% informó que ofreció a parejas de personas diagnosticadas y el 95.3% realizó asesoramiento previo y posterior a la prueba. Con respecto al manejo del VIH, el 93% realiza una búsqueda activa de personas cuyo diagnóstico fue positivo y no regresó para recibir el resultado, mientras que el 80.3% realiza una búsqueda activa de sus parejas. Conclusión: Las acciones de educación, prevención, diagnóstico y tratamiento, aunque existen, todavía tienen un largo camino por recorrer, como un punto de inversión en la calificación profesional para una asistencia adecuada.Objetivo: Avaliar o controle do HIV/Aids ofertado pela Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS) por meio da perspectiva dos profissionais de nível superior. Método: Estudo transversal de amostragem não probabilística por conveniência dos enfermeiros, médicos e dentistas inseridos APS de Palmas, Tocantins por meio da aplicação de questionário eletrônico entre os meses de agosto e novembro de 2018. Os dados foram consolidados e analisados por frequência. Resultados: Referente aos testes rápidos de HIV/Aids, 99,2% relataram ofertar aos parceiros de pessoas diagnosticadas e 95,3% realizavam aconselhamento pré-teste e pós-teste. Sobre o manejo do HIV, 93% realizam busca ativa às pessoas cujo diagnóstico foi positivo e não retornaram para receber o resultado, enquanto 80,3% realizam busca ativa aos parceiros desses.
