Resumo: The article expresses the perception of Storytelling as a Pedagogical Resource in Portuguese Language Classes in the Initial Years of Elementary School. Aiming to emphasize the importance of storytelling for socio-cognitive development in the literacy cycle. Thus, the study sought to contextualize alternatives to facilitate student learning during teaching-learning and maximize satisfactory results on the subject under discussion, having as a problem: What is the contribution of storytelling to the development of student learning in teaching fundamental? How can this process benefit student learning and what is its relevance to self-development in the learning process in Elementary School? In the search for an answer to this question, a bibliographic review was used, which presented data in a qualitative way, with an emphasis on national and international credibility. The study is justified by the fact that storytelling allows the student to acquire numerous skills and competences that provide the enrichment of learning. Thus, it is essential for the development of the student, and, therefore, it is necessary to use this practice as a way of improving the quality of teaching and learning, in terms of literacy, because the contact with the narrated story makes students feel stimulated to read, write and interpret, being essential factors for the integral formation of the individual.

Con el objetivo de enfatizar la importancia de la narración para el desarrollo socio-cognitivo en el ciclo de alfabetización. Así, el estudio buscó contextualizar alternativas para facilitar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes durante la enseñanza-aprendizaje y maximizar resultados satisfactorios sobre el tema en discusión, teniendo como problema: ¿Cuál es la contribución de la narración para el desarrollo del aprendizaje de los estudiantes en la enseñanza fundamental? ¿Cómo puede este proceso beneficiar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes y cuál es su relevancia para el autodesarrollo en el proceso de aprendizaje en la Educación Primaria? En la búsqueda de respuesta a esta pregunta, se utilizó una revisión bibliográfica, que presentó datos de forma cualitativa, con énfasis en la credibilidad nacional e internacional. El estudio se justifica por el hecho de que la narración permite al alumno adquirir numerosas habilidades y competencias que aportan el enriquecimiento del aprendizaje. Así, es fundamental para el desarrollo del estudiante, y, por lo tanto, es necesario utilizar esta práctica como una forma de mejorar la calidad de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje, en términos de lectoescritura, porque el contacto con la historia narrada hace que los estudiantes se sientan estimulados a leer, escribir e interpretar, siendo factores esenciales para la formación integral del individuo.O artigo exprime a percepção sobre a contação de história como recurso pedagógico nas aulas de língua portuguesa dos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental. Objetivando enfatizar a importância da contação de história para o desenvolvimento sociocognitivo no ciclo de alfabetização. Assim, o estudo procurou contextualizar alternativas para facilitar a aprendizagem dos estudantes durante o ensino-aprendizagem e, maximizar os resultados satisfatórios sobre o assunto em discussão, tendo como problemática: Qual a contribuição da contação de história para o desenvolvimento da aprendizagem dos alunos no ensino fundamental? Como esse processo pode beneficiar a aprendizagem dos estudantes e qual sua relevância para o autodesenvolvimento no processo de aprendizagem no Ensino Fundamental? Na busca da resposta a essa indagação, utilizou-se a revisão bibliográfica, que os dados de maneira qualitativa, com ênfase em credibilidade nacional e internacional. O estudo justifica-se pelo fato de que a contação de história possibilita ao aluno a aquisição de inúmeras habilidades e competências que proporcionam o enriquecimento da aprendizagem.
