Right to education: an analysis concerning its effectiveness in basic education in the state of Minas Gerais from the emergency remote education adopted throughout the COVID-19 pandemic

Resumo: The right to education is assured to everyone as expressly provided for in the 1988 Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Nonetheless, as well as in many other sectors, education has suffered and still has suffered the impacts of social isolation resulting from the COVID-19 Pandemic, which found in Emergency Remote Education a way of minimizing the damage caused. Thereby, the present study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of the right to education in basic education in the State of Minas Gerais from the Emergency Remote Education adopted in the COVID-19 Pandemic. This article is a descriptive research of a quantitative-qualitative nature carried out from an integrative literature review and analysis of secondary data. From the results obtained, it was possible to observe that the effectiveness of the right to education was mitigated in the Basic Education of the State of Minas Gerais from the ERE adopted in the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Sin embargo, como en muchos otros sectores, la educación ha sufrido y sufre los impactos del aislamiento social producto de la Pandemia del COVID-19, que encontró en la educación a distancia de emergencia una forma de minimizar los daños causados. Así, el presente estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar la efectividad del derecho a la educación en la educación básica en el Estado de Minas Gerais a partir de la Educación a Distancia de Emergencia adoptada durante la Pandemia del COVID-19. Este artículo es una investigación descriptiva de carácter cuantitativo-cualitativo realizada a partir de una revisión integrativa de la literatura y análisis de datos secundarios. A partir de los resultados obtenidos, fue posible observar que la efectividad del derecho a la educación fue mitigada en la Educación Básica del Estado de Minas Gerais a partir de los ERE adoptados en la Pandemia del COVID-19.O direito à educação é assegurado a todos conforme expressamente previsto na Constituição da República Federativa do Brasil de 1988.  No entanto, assim como em diversos outros setores, a educação sofreu e ainda tem sofrido os impactos do isolamento social decorrido da Pandemia de COVID-19, a qual encontrou no ensino remoto emergencial uma forma de minimizar os danos causados. Assim, o presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar a efetividade do direito à educação na educação básica do Estado de Minas Gerais a partir do Ensino Remoto Emergencial adotado na Pandemia de COVID-19. O presente artigo trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva de natureza quanti-qualitativa realizada a partir de revisão integrativa da literatura e análise de dados secundários.
