Anterior aesthetic rehabilitation with ceramic laminates in endodontically treated teeth: case report

Resumo: Currently, the search for a harmonic and beautiful smile, makes darkened teeth of great discomfort for patients, leading to the search for an aesthetic treatment to change the color and shape of the teeth. Dentistry has several aesthetic restorative techniques, including ceramic laminates, which are a minimally invasive option and have properties such as biocompatibility, color stability, longevity and resistance, that is, they present biomimicry with enamel. Thus, the purpose of this work is to report a clinical case in which the patient initially had a darkened anterior tooth due to endodontic treatment, where an external tooth whitening was performed, a wear of approximately 0,3mm, and the cementation of the ceramic veneers. The use of ceramic laminates in dentistry brings satisfactory results when combined with durability, minimal wear, aesthetics and resistance. With the mastery of the professional, proper restoration technique, correct case planning, and careful execution of clinical steps, a positive result is obtained. Returning the patient's naturalness, harmony and self-esteem.

Returning the patient's naturalness, harmony and self-esteem.Actualmente, la búsqueda de una sonrisa armónica y hermosa, hace que los dientes oscurecidos sean de gran malestar para los pacientes, lo que lleva a la búsqueda de un tratamiento estético para cambiar el color y forma de los dientes. La odontología cuenta con diversas técnicas restauradoras estéticas, entre ellas los laminados cerámicos, que es una opción mínimamente invasiva y tiene propiedades como biocompatibilidad, estabilidad del color, longevidad y resistencia, es decir, presentan biomimetismo con el esmalte. Así, el propósito de este trabajo es reportar un caso clínico en el que el paciente presentó inicialmente un diente anterior oscurecido por tratamiento endodóntico, donde se realizó un blanqueamiento dental externo, un desgaste de aproximadamente 0.3 mm y la cementación de laminados cerâmicos. El uso de laminados cerámicos en odontología brinda resultados satisfactorios cuando se combina con durabilidad, mínimo desgaste, estética y resistencia. Con el dominio de la técnica profesional de restauración adecuada, la planificación correcta del caso y la ejecución cuidadosa de los pasos clínicos, se obtiene un resultado positivo. Devolviendo al paciente la naturalidad, la armonía y la autoestima.Atualmente, a busca pelo sorriso harmônico e belo, faz com que dentes escurecidos sejam de grande incômodo para os pacientes, levando a busca de um tratamento estético para alterar a cor e forma dos dentes. A Odontologia se dispõe de várias técnicas restauradoras estéticas, dentre elas os laminados cerâmicos que é uma opção minimamente invasiva e possuem propriedades como biocompatibilidade, estabilidade de cor, longevidade e resistência, ou seja, apresentam biomimetismo com esmalte. Com isso, a realização deste trabalho tem como objetivo relatar um caso clínico em que o paciente apresentava inicialmente dentes anteriores escurecidos devido ao tratamento endodôntico, onde foi traçado plano de tratamento com clareamento dental, preparo para laminados com um desgaste de aproximadamente 0,3mm, e a cimentação dos laminados cerâmicos. A utilização dos laminados cerâmicos na Odontologia traz resultados satisfatórios quando combinados sua durabilidade, seu desgaste mínimo, estética e resistência. Com o domínio do profissional, técnica de restauração adequada, planejamento correto do caso, e execução criteriosa das etapas clínicas, obteve-se um resultado positivo.
