Resumo: The increase in the concentrations of trace elements in soil can occur either due to anthropogenic activities or due to natural processes. The aim of this study was to investigate the natural concentration of lead (Pb) in soils in the Minas Gerais State and compare with the guiding values advocated in CONAMA Resolution No. 420, 2009. This work can be used for managing the Stat’s Metal Mines and inform the public of the likely risks that are subordinate. To support this work were used the Soil Map of Minas Gerais and the MG Geological Map. In Minas Gerais, there is not a prevalence of disturbed areas with Pb below the VRQ, and only six areas showed potential for natural contamination, justified by geology and soil class in each region.

Research, Society and Development2020-07-07info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/502210.33448/rsd-v9i8.5022Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 No. 8; e350985022Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 Núm. 8; e350985022Research, Society and Development; v. 9 n. 8; e3509850222525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/5022/4887Copyright (c) 2020 Rômulo César Soares Alexandrino, João José Granate de Sá e Melo Marquesinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAlexandrino, Rômulo César SoaresMarques, João José Granate de Sá e MeloSilva, Sérgio Henrique GodinhoSimão, Fúlvio Rodriguez2020-08-20T18:00:17Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/5022Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:28:40.985792Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false
