Early mobilization in the intensive care unit: Systematic Review

Resumo: The present study is a systematic review whose purpose was to analyze the studies on the use of Early Mobilization (PM) intervention in intensive care bed patients, identify its benefits and recognize the main protocols currently used for patient recovery. A systematic qualitative observational and cross-sectional analysis of studies addressing early mobilization in ICU beds was performed. The results of the study showed that Early Mobilization is an effective treatment regarding the first care of the physiotherapist for the patient in the ICU. Studies such as that of Zhu et al. (2018) are of relevant importance for the area of physiotherapy, where the intervention of MP in patients in the ICU can be effective and reduce their length of stay in bed.

Se realizó un análisis sistemático cualitativo observacional y transversal de los estudios sobre la movilización temprana en las camas de la UCI. Los resultados del estudio mostraron que la Movilización Temprana es un tratamiento efectivo en cuanto a la primera atención del fisioterapeuta al paciente en la UCI. Estudios como el de Zhu et al. (2018) son de relevante importancia para el área de la fisioterapia, donde la intervención de la MP en pacientes en la UCI puede ser efectiva y reducir su tiempo de estancia en cama.O presente estudo trata-se de uma revisão sistemática cujo o objetivo foi analisar os estudos sobre o uso da intervenção de Mobilização Precoce (MP) em pacientes no leito de terapia intensiva, identificar seus benefícios e reconhecer os principais protocolos utilizados na atualidade para a recuperação do paciente. Foi realizada uma análise sistemática observacional qualitativa e transversal de estudos que tratavam sobre a mobilização precoce em leitos de UTI. Os resultados do estudo demonstraram que a Mobilização Precoce é um tratamento eficaz no que tange aos primeiros cuidados do fisioterapeuta para com o paciente na UTI. Estudos como o de Zhu et al.
