Resumo: | Motivated by the industrialization technological developments through the accidents at work worrying statistics, NR-12 was created to deal with Safety at Work in Machinery and Equipment. Based on this standard and with a health and safety engineer professional support, it is possible to analyze and make the necessary adjustments to the machinery. In the study it is possible to see the risks present and the safety at work importance on the ball mill, once a very common machine in the mining industry. The ball mill operation involves the forklift for loading, raw material that make up the material to be refined, and also work at height. In order to carry out maintenance on this machine, it is necessary for machinery maintenance employees to have training in NR-33 standard which addresses Work in Confined Space. Working with this equipment involves exposure to physical risks (such as noise and vibration) chemical risks, mechanical risks and ergonomic risks (considering that it is tiring work and requires intense effort from the worker). This article presents a proposal to adapt the work environment and equipment according to the NR-12 standard in order to eliminate or minimize the risks to which workers are exposed. |

Con base en esta norma y con la asistencia de un profesional de ingeniería de seguridad y salud, es posible investigar y realizar los ajustes necesarios en la maquinaria. Al analizar el molino de bolas, una máquina muy común en la industria minera, es posible ver los riesgos presentes y la importancia de la seguridad en el trabajo. La operación del molino de bolas implica el uso de una carretilla elevadora para la carga de materias primas que componen el material a refinar, y también el trabajo en altura. Para realizar el mantenimiento de esta máquina, es necesario tener capacitación en NR-33, que cubre el trabajo en espacios confinados. Trabajar con este equipo implica la exposición a peligros físicos (como ruido y vibración), químicos, mecánicos y ergonómicos (ya que la tarea es agotadora y requiere un esfuerzo intenso por parte del operador). En este artículo se presenta una propuesta de adecuación del ambiente y equipamiento de trabajo según NR-12, con el fin de eliminar o minimizar los riesgos a los que están expuestos los trabajadores.Motivada pelos desdobramentos tecnológicos da industrialização mediante as preocupantes estatísticas de acidentes do trabalho, a NR-12 foi criada para tratar da Segurança no Trabalho em Máquinas e Equipamentos. Com base nesta norma e com o auxílio de um profissional de engenharia de saúde e segurança é possível investigar e realizar adequações necessárias no maquinário. Ao analisar o moinho de bolas, uma máquina muito comum na indústria de mineração, é possível perceber os riscos presentes e a importância da segurança no trabalho. A operação do moinho de bolas envolve o uso de empilhadeira para o carregamento, matérias primas que compõem o material a ser refinado, e também o trabalho em altura. Para realizar a manutenção desta máquina é necessário ter treinamento em NR-33, que aborda o Trabalho em Espaço Confinado. Trabalhar com esta máquina envolve exposição a riscos físicos (como ruído e vibração), químicos, mecânicos e ergonômicos (uma vez que a tarefa é cansativa e exige intenso esforço do operador).
