Resumo: | Nuclear technology is the manipulation of ionizing radiation in a controlled way for application in various areas, such as in the area of health, in the generation of electricity by nuclear power plants, in industry, agriculture, environment among others. However, most beneficial and essential applications of nuclear technologies are still unknown and stereotyped by the population. Therefore, scientific dissemination is necessary for society's awareness of this subject. The present work aimed to disseminate and raise awareness about nuclear technologies and their relationship with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. Thus, a questionnaire was constructed and applied to trace the profile of the public to be reached, followed by the creation of a profile on social media, called Nucleotiza, to clarify and disseminate the benefits and importance of nuclear technologies. Strategies of scientific dissemination and communication were elaborated in order to dialogue with the non-nuclear public in a clear and simple way, such as lectures for elementary, high school and undergraduate students. Nucleotiza has reached national and international followers from 24 countries and 250 cities, 24 Brazilian states, approximately 100 cities in the state of Minas Gerais, 134 cities in the southeast region and 183 Brazilian cities counted in 2018. The methodology constructed and determined for the work proved to be efficient and applicable in other scientific dissemination and awareness studies. |

Sin embargo, las aplicaciones más beneficiosas y esenciales de las tecnologías nucleares siguen siendo desconocidas y estereotipadas por la población. Por lo tanto, la divulgación científica es necesaria para la conciencia de la sociedad sobre este tema. La labor actual tenía por objeto difundir y sensibilizar sobre las tecnologías nucleares y su relación con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de las Naciones Unidas. Así, se construyó un cuestionario y se aplicó para rastrear el perfil del público a alcanzar, seguido de la creación de un perfil en las redes sociales, llamado Nucleotiza, para aclarar y difundir los beneficios y la importancia de las tecnologías nucleares. Se elaboraron estrategias de divulgación científica y comunicación para dialogar con el público no nuclear de una manera clara y sencilla, como conferencias para estudiantes de primaria, secundaria y pregrado. Nucleotiza ha alcanzado seguidores nacionales e internacionales de 24 países y 250 ciudades, 24 estados brasileños, aproximadamente 100 ciudades en el estado de Minas Gerais, 134 ciudades de la región sureste y 183 ciudades brasileñas contabilizadas en 2018. La metodología construida y determinada para el trabajo demostró ser eficiente y aplicable en otros estudios de divulgación científica y sensibilización.A tecnologia nuclear é a manipulação da radiação ionizante de forma controlada para aplicação em diversas áreas, como na área da saúde, na geração de energia elétrica por usinas nucleares, na indústria, agricultura, meio ambiente entre outras. No entanto, a maioria das aplicações benéficas e essenciais das tecnologias nucleares ainda são desconhecidas e estereotipadas pela população. Por isso, é necessária a divulgação científica para a conscientização da sociedade sobre esse assunto. O presente trabalho visou divulgar e conscientizar sobre tecnologias nucleares e a relação delas com os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável da Organização das Nações Unidas. Desta forma, foi construído e aplicado um questionário para traçar o perfil do público a ser alcançado, seguido da criação de um perfil nas mídias sociais, chamado Nucleotiza, para esclarecimento e divulgação dos benefícios e importância das tecnologias nucleares. Foram elaboradas estratégias de divulgação científica e de comunicação de forma a dialogar com o público não nuclear de maneira clara e simples, como palestras para alunos do ensino fundamental, médio e da graduação. O Nucleotiza alcançou seguidores nacionais e internacionais de 24 países e 250 cidades, 24 estados brasileiros, aproximadamente 100 cidades do estado de Minas Gerais, 134 cidades na região sudeste e 183 cidades brasileiras contabilizadas em 2018.
