Scientific production on women with uterine cervical cancer in hemodialysis: bibliometric study

The objective was to describe the panorama of scientific production, found in the Web of Science database, on women with cervical cancer undergoing hemodialysis, between the years 2017 to 2021. This is a bibliometric study, with a quantitative approach. Data were collected in the Web of Science database, using the PiCo search strategy. As inclusion criteria: publications available in scientific journals from 2017 to 2021; full text in English, Portuguese or Spanish and search terms in the title or abstract. As an exclusion criterion, publications in the following modalities were excluded: thesis, dissertation and monograph, and repeated articles were suppressed. 14 articles were found, in which the bibliometric laws of Lotka, Zipf and Bradford were applied. There is little frequency of studies on this subject, even though it has great epidemiological representation and is the primary cause of death from cancer in the northern region of Brazil. Leading to observe a gap in world research, mainly national. Referring to the need for studies and research on women with cervical cancer on hemodialysis.
