Resumo: The use and evaluation of alternative pedagogical tools in the construction of knowledge can significantly improve learning. The objective of this research was to analyze through a material previously made, the perception of undergraduate students of the Regional University of Cariri - URCA of the Biological Sciences Course, about the pedagogical tool - Comic "Pulmão and its class". "comics or comics" was used as a possible pedagogical didactic material, a simple and viable method, which can be adapted to various everyday themes, in order to be able to lead the student to a better understanding of the content of the discipline presented during classes. The research was conducted with 154 students regularly enrolled in the Degree course in Biological Sciences of the Regional University of Cariri, CE, Campus Campos Sales-CE and Crato-CE. For the collection of data from the research, a semi-structured questionnaire and the participant's observation were applied. The results indicated that the "comic" as a pedagogical instrument is playful, feasible and practical, in order to be able to lead the student to a better understanding of the content of the discipline; stimulates and motivates the student's curiosity as a teaching methodology, and can be applied to different levels of learning. The proposal seeks to contribute to the reduction and/or overcoming of the difficulties identified in the teaching and learning process.

El objetivo de esta investigación era analizar a través de un material realizado previamente, la percepción de los estudiantes de pregrado de la Universidad Regional de Cariri - URCA del Curso de Ciencias Biológicas, sobre la herramienta pedagógica - Cómic "Pulmão y su clase". "cómics o cómics" se utilizó como un posible material didáctico pedagógico, un método simple y viable, que se puede adaptar a diversos temas cotidianos, con el fin de poder llevar al estudiante a una mejor comprensión del contenido de la disciplina presentada durante las clases. La investigación se llevó a cabo con 154 estudiantes inscritos regularmente en el curso de Grado en Ciencias Biológicas de la Universidad Regional de Cariri, CE, Campus Campos Sales-CE y Crato-CE. Para la recopilación de datos de la investigación, se aplicó un cuestionario semiestructurado y la observación del participante. Los resultados indicaron que el "cómic" como instrumento pedagógico es lúdico, factible y práctico, con el fin de poder llevar al estudiante a una mejor comprensión del contenido de la disciplina; estimula y motiva la curiosidad del estudiante como metodología didáctica, y se puede aplicar a diferentes niveles de aprendizaje. La propuesta busca contribuir a la reducción y/o superación de las dificultades identificadas en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje.A utilização e avaliação de ferramentas pedagógicas alternativas na construção de conhecimento pode melhorar significativamente a aprendizagem. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar através de um material já previamente confecionado, a percepção dos alunos licenciandos da Universidade Regional do Cariri (URCA) do Curso de Ciências Biológicas, sobre a ferramenta pedagógica – Gibi “Pulmão e sua turma”. Foi utilizado “gibis ou histórias em quadrinhos” como possível material didático pedagógico, um método simples e viável, que pode ser adaptado a diversos temas do cotidiano, no sentido de poder levar o aluno a uma melhor compreensão do conteúdo da disciplina apresentada durante as aulas. A pesquisa foi realizada com 154 discentes regularmente matriculados no curso de Licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas da Universidade Regional do Cariri, CE, Campus Campos Sales-CE e Crato-CE. Para a coleta de dados da pesquisa foi aplicado um questionário semiestruturado e a observação do participante. Os resultados apontaram que o “gibi” como um instrumento pedagógico é lúdico, viável e prático, no sentido de poder levar o aluno a uma melhor compreensão do conteúdo da disciplina; estimula e motiva a curiosidade do aluno como metodologia de ensino, e pode ser aplicado para diferentes níveis de aprendizado.
