Realistic simulation in teaching nursing practices in wound care: Account of experiences

Resumo: Objective: report the experience of the teaching staff of the nursing technical course of an application college in the west of Rio de Janeiro using realistic simulation as a methodology for teaching and learning for middle school students, We used as a method010kv; the experience report on the use of realistic simulation, since it allows the students involved in the practice to experience existing roles in real life, adapting their posture and professional performance according to the presented case, the resources and their perception of the health environment. Main results: The students of the class improve their knowledge by realistically having their knowledge exemplified and through this dynamic allowed students from other classes, periods and professional courses, as well as family members and other members of the faculty of the institution understood the healing process, the approach of the lesions and therapeutics to be used in each type of wound, spreading the knowledge among all Conclusions: Many health care courses have used the realistic simulation in their process of training new professionals, however, there is still little research evidencing the need for new studies to foster the effectiveness of this teaching.

Se utilizó como metodología: el relato de experiencia sobre el empleo de la simulación realista. teniendo en cuenta que ésta permite a los alumnos involucrados en la práctica vivir los papeles existentes en la vida real, adaptando su postura y desempeño profesional según el caso presentado, los recursos y su percepción del ambiente de salud, Principales resultados; Los alumnos de la clase perfeccionan sus conocimientos teniendo de forma realista su conocimiento ejemplificado ya través de esta dinámica permitió que alumnos de otras clases, períodos y cursos profesionalizantes, así como familiares y demás miembros del cuerpo docente de la institución entendieran el proceso de cicatrización, el abordaje de las lesiones y terapias a utilizar en cada tipo de herida, diseminando el conocimiento entre todos. Conclusiones: Muchos cursos de salud han utilizado la simulación realista en su proceso de formación de nuevos profesionales, pero todavía hay pocas investigaciones evidenciando la necesidad de nuevos estudios para fomentar la eficacia de esa herramienta de enseñanza.Objetivo: relatar a experiência vivenciada pelo corpo docente do curso técnico de enfermagem de um colégio de aplicação na Zona Oeste do Rio de janeiro com a utilização da simulação realística como uma metodologia de ensino e aprendizagem para os alunos de nível médio. Utilizou-se como metodologia: o relato de experiência sobre o emprego da simulação realística, tendo em vista que esta permite aos alunos envolvidos na prática vivenciar papéis existentes na vida real, adaptando sua postura e desempenho profissional conforme o caso apresentado, os recursos e sua percepção do ambiente de saúde, Principais resultados: Os alunos da turma aprimoram seus conhecimentos tendo de forma realística seu conhecimento exemplificado e através desta dinâmica permitiu que alunos de outras turmas, períodos e cursos profissionalizantes, bem como familiares e demais membros do corpo docente da instituição entendesse o processo de cicatrização, a abordagem das lesões e terapêutica a utilizar em cada tipo de ferida, disseminando o conhecimento entre todos.
