Archive and Education: Relationships between the use of documents in Vocational and Technological Education

Resumo: The present work is the result of a master's research of the Professional Master's Program in Professional and Technological Education of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (ProfEPT/IFAL). It sought to understand the relationship between education and the archive. At first, we highlight determinants that drive the relationship between archive and education, in an interdisciplinary way, we add dialogues with researchers from the school teaching of History, such as Flávia Caimi, Pereira Neto and Circe Bittencourt. Then, it presents the archives in a modern view, under the light of Archivology, the social function, space of action, concepts and characteristics are traced. Finally, there is the construction of a reflection on the archive as a non-formal space of education. As for the methodological procedure, bibliographic research and document analysis are used. For this, the Revista Acervo, from the National Archives and the electronic public archives websites are established as a source of data collection, being one institution at the federal level and two at the state level. It concludes that the study presented contributes to the construction of a more integrative dialogue between Archival Science and Education. It also drives transformations in these areas of knowledge.

It also drives transformations in these areas of knowledge.El presente trabajo es el resultado de una investigación de maestría del Programa de Maestría Profesional en Educación Profesional y Tecnológica del Instituto Federal de Alagoas (ProfEPT/IFAL). Se buscó comprender la relación entre la educación y el archivo. En un primer momento, destacamos determinantes que impulsan la relación entre archivo y educación, de manera interdisciplinar, agregamos diálogos con investigadores de la enseñanza escolar de la Historia, como Flávia Caimi, Pereira Neto y Circe Bittencourt. Luego, presenta los archivos en una mirada moderna, a la luz de la Archivología, se rastrea la función social, espacio de acción, conceptos y características. Finalmente, se construye una reflexión sobre el archivo como espacio no formal de educación. En cuanto al procedimiento metodológico, se utiliza la investigación bibliográfica y el análisis documental. Para ello se establece como fuente de recolección de datos la Revista Acervo, del Archivo Nacional y los sitios web de los archivos públicos electrónicos, siendo una institución a nivel federal y dos a nivel estatal. Concluye que el estudio presentado contribuye para la construcción de un diálogo más integrador entre la Archivística y la Educación. También impulsa transformaciones en estas áreas del conocimiento.O presente trabalho é resultado de pesquisa de mestrado do Programa de Mestrado Profissional em Educação Profissional e Tecnológica do Instituto Federal de Alagoas (ProfEPT/IFAL). Buscou compreender as relações entre educação e arquivo. Num primeiro momento, evidenciamos determinantes que impulsionam as relações entre arquivo e educação, de forma interdisciplinar, acrescenta-se diálogos com pesquisadores do ensino escolar de História, como Flávia Caimi, Pereira Neto e Circe Bittencourt.  Em seguida, apresenta os arquivos em uma visão moderna, sob a luz da Arquivologia, traça-se a função social, espaço de atuação, conceitos e características. Por fim, há a construção de uma reflexão sobre o arquivo como espaço não formal de educação. Quanto ao procedimento metodológico, utiliza-se a pesquisa bibliográfica e a análise documental. Para isso, estabelece-se como fonte de coleta de dados a Revista Acervo, do Arquivo Nacional e os sítios eletrônicos de arquivos públicos, sendo uma instituição da esfera federal e duas estaduais. Conclui que o estudo apresentado contribui para a construção de um diálogo mais integrativo entre a Arquivologia e a Educação.
