Resumo: Water is the natural resource most likely to impose limits on development in many parts of the world. The deterioration of its quality, caused by untreated effluent discharges, tends to be a threat to public health. In this sense, this work aims to evaluate the performance of the Sewage Treatment Station of Clube Náutico Alvorada, Caratinga / MG, in its start-up process. Laboratory analyzes were performed to determine the efficiency of the anaerobic treatment system in its start-up process in the treatment of tourist wastewater. The parameters analyzed were pH, Temperature, Conductivity, COD, BOD, Dissolved Solids, Suspended Solids and Sedimentable Solids. The average overall efficiencies for BOD and COD were, respectively, 49.50 and 59.96%. The performance of the WWTP can be explained by the variation of the effluent flow and organic load. The stability of the system has not yet been fully achieved, but its treatment has shown good results.

A deterioração de sua qualidade, causada por lançamentos de efluentes sem tratamento, Tende a ser uma ameaça à saúde pública. En este sentido, este objetivo objetivo está disponible para el desempeño de la Estación de Tratamento de Esgoto do Clube Náutico Alvorada, Caratinga / MG, en su proceso de puesta en marcha. Para realizar trabajos analíticos de laboratorio para la eficacia del sistema de tratamiento anaeróbio en su proceso de puesta en marcha, no se requiere tratamiento de residuos residuales turísticos. Los parámetros analizados para pH, Temperatura, Condutividade, DQO, DBO, Sólidos Dissolvidos, Sólidos Suspensos y Sólidos Sedimentáveis. Como eficiências globais médias para DBO y DQO foram, respectivamente, 49,50% e 59,96%. O desempenho da ETE pode ser explicado pela variação da vazão e carga orgânica do efluente. A estabilidade do system ainda não foi atingida na sua totalidade, contudo seu tratamento apresentou bons results.A água é o recurso natural mais susceptível a impor limites ao desenvolvimento em muitas partes do mundo.
