Teaching assistance for medical education at a federal university in the pandemic: an experience in the comprehensive health care module

Resumo: | Medical education, as a result of the pandemic, went through several adaptations quickly to build online education. The purpose of this article is to outline reflections for the construction of support points for the possible gaps existing in that period. This is an experience report from the perspective of Comprehensive Health Care teaching assistance about medical education and its contributions to fighting the pandemic at the Federal University of Pará, in the first two years of the Medicine Course. Google Meet tool and videos were the most used means in the emerging scenario of the pandemic, in which teaching assistance was present, acting in support to students and teachers and helping in the management of digital tools and in the construction of the evaluation of the learning process. Monitoring the medical education provided during the pandemic period is necessary, as theoretical and practical shortages may have occurred. Therefore, alternatives must be implemented, such as carrying out simulations and/or retrograde content evaluations, in order to fill these possible gaps. |

El propósito de este artículo es esbozar reflexiones para la construcción de puntos de apoyo para las posibles brechas existentes en ese período. Se trata de un relato de experiencia desde la perspectiva del asistencia docente de la Atención Integral de Salud sobre la educación médica y sus aportes al combate a la pandemia en la Universidad Federal de Pará, en los dos primeros años del Curso de Medicina. La herramienta Google Meet y los videos fueron los medios más utilizados en el escenario emergente de la pandemia, en el que la asistencia docente estuvo presente, actuando en apoyo de estudiantes y docentes y ayudando en el manejo de herramientas digitales y en la construcción de la evaluación del proceso de aprendizaje. Es necesario monitorear la educación médica brindada durante el período pandémico, ya que pueden haberse producido deficiencias teóricas y prácticas. Por lo tanto, se deben implementar alternativas, como la realización de simulaciones y/o evaluaciones de contenido retrógradas, para cubrir estos posibles vacíos.O ensino médico, em virtude da pandemia, sofreu diversas adaptações de forma rápida para a construção de um ensino on-line. Assim, a realização deste artigo traz o intuito de traçar reflexões para propor pontos de apoio em possíveis lacunas existentes nesse período. Dessa forma, trazemos aqui um relato de experiência pelo olhar de estudantes e da monitoria de Atenção Integral à Saúde acerca do ensino médico e suas contribuições no enfrentamento da pandemia na Universidade Federal do Pará, nos dois anos iniciais do Curso de Medicina. A ferramenta Google Meet e vídeos foram os meios mais utilizados, no cenário emergente da pandemia, em que a monitoria se fez presente, atuando no apoio discente e docente e auxiliando no manejo de ferramentas digitais e na construção da avaliação do processo de aprendizagem. Chamamos atenção para o acompanhamento do ensino médico prestado no período pandêmico que se faz necessário, pois carências teóricas e práticas podem ter ocorrido.
