A brief discussion and analysis of the factors that can influence students' mathematical learning

Resumo: The present work proposes to present a research on the factors that can influence the learning of Mathematics. This situation has been the subject of debates between teachers, parents and school management, who also link this situation to the students' lack of interest. According to these teachers, this situation occurs in all subjects and is even more worrying when it comes to the Mathematics curricular component. A qualitative-quantitative research was carried out, applying data collection techniques in an elementary school in the city of Aquiraz - CE, through bibliographic sources, informal dialogues with teachers and application of a structured questionnaire for students. With the research, we realized that there are several factors that interfere in learning, such as the reality of the community, family, perspective of life and among others, being necessary to develop mechanisms that can improve the student's self-confidence and strengthen the student's relationship with the teacher.

Esta situación ha sido objeto de debates entre docentes, padres de familia y dirección escolar, quienes también vinculan esta situación al desinterés de los alumnos. Según estos docentes, esta situación se da en todas las materias y es aún más preocupante cuando se trata del componente curricular de Matemáticas. Se realizó una investigación cualitativa-cuantitativa, aplicando técnicas de recolección de datos en una escuela primaria de la ciudad de Aquiraz - CE, a través de fuentes bibliográficas, diálogos informales con docentes y aplicación de un cuestionario estructurado para los alumnos. Con la investigación nos dimos cuenta que existen varios factores que interfieren en el aprendizaje, como la realidad de la comunidad, familia, perspectiva de vida y entre otros, siendo necesario desarrollar mecanismos que puedan mejorar la autoconfianza de los estudiantes y fortalecer la relación del estudiante con el maestro.O presente trabalho se propõe a apresentar uma pesquisa sobre os fatores que podem influenciar na aprendizagem da Matemática. Tal situação tem sido tema de debates entre professores, pais e gestão escolar, que atrelam também essa situação à falta de interesse dos alunos. De acordo com esses professores, essa situação acontece em todas as disciplinas e é ainda mais preocupante quando se trata do componente curricular Matemática. Foi realizada uma pesquisa quali-quantitativa, aplicando técnicas de coletas de dados em uma escola de ensino fundamental do município de Aquiraz - CE, através de fontes bibliográficas, de diálogos informais com professores e aplicação de um questionário estruturado para os alunos.
