Resumo: The objective of this study was to verify the factors that led to the premature interruption of the therapeutic process of a teenager pacient of a school-service of Pshycology of a private University located on the interior of Rio Grande do Sul-RS. The adopted methodoly was a unique and systematic study of case, with exploratory character. As a result, it was verified that factors as the pacient not having available hours that matched the hours of the school-service, lack of family adherence in the treatment and low therapeutic aliance have influenced in the premature abandonment. It is concluded that is necessary to take into account the factors that influence the interruption of treatment, having a deep and broad look at the most diverse aspects.

It is concluded that is necessary to take into account the factors that influence the interruption of treatment, having a deep and broad look at the most diverse aspects.En este artículo, tenemos como objetivo para verificar los factores que llevaron a la interrupción prematura del proceso terapêutico de um paciente adolescente, aún en proceso de detección, en un servicio-escolar de Psicología de una universidad privada ubicada en el interior de Rio Grande do Sul. La metodología adoptada fue un solo estudio de caso y sistemático, con carácter exploratorio. Como resultado, se verificó que factores como la falta de disponibilidad de horarios coherentes con el funcionamiento de la escolar servicio, la falta de adherencia familiar en el tratamiento y la falta de consolidación de la alianza terapéutica entre el paciente en prácticas influyeron no abandono prematuro. En resumen, se concluye que es necesario considerar los factores que influyen en la interrupción del tratamiento, teniendo una visión amplia y profunda de los aspectos que atraviesan la evaluación clínica inicial del tratamiento.O presente trabalho tem como objetivo verificar os fatores que levaram a interrupção prematura do processo terapêutico de uma paciente adolescente, ainda em realização de triagem, dentro de um serviço-escola de Psicologia de uma Universidade privada localizada no interior do Rio Grande do Sul. A metodologia adotada foi um estudo de caso único e sistemático, com caráter exploratório. Como resultado, verificou-se que fatores como a paciente apresentar falta de disponibilidade de horários condizentes com o funcionamento do serviço-escola, existir falta de adesão familiar no tratamento e falta de consolidação da aliança terapêutica entre paciente-estagiária, influenciaram no abandono prematuro.
