Resumo: Nutritional supplements are industrialized micronutrients that aim to avoid nutritional deficiencies, caused by poor diet, it is used by many athletes as a complement to a balanced diet. A bibliographic research was carried out in order to know the main effects of thermogenic supplements, indicating their main consequences for human health. The search for better quality of life, health and aesthetics are one of the most frequent reasons for seeking these, along with the practice of regular physical activity. Thermogenics are compounds that have the ability to accelerate metabolism, which can cause a greater burning of calories in the athlete and assist in weight loss, what many users are unaware of are the adverse effects that the body can manifest after improper consumption of thermogenics, its compounds can cause the elevation of blood pressure, so those who suffer from hypertension, heart problems should avoid this type of substance. With results, it is suggested that before starting the use of these substances it is necessary to follow a professional balanced diet and practice of exercises aimed at the objective of each individual, to avoid any damage to health because these supplements have the ability to act on the nervous system. friendly and autonomous.

Se realizó una investigación bibliográfica con el fin de conocer los principales efectos de los suplementos termogénicos, indicando sus principales consecuencias para la salud humana. La búsqueda de una mejor calidad de vida, salud y estética es uno de los motivos más frecuentes para buscarlas, junto con la práctica de actividad física regular. Los termogénicos son compuestos que tienen la capacidad de acelerar el metabolismo, lo que puede provocar una mayor quema de calorías en el deportista y ayudar a la pérdida de peso, lo que muchos usuarios desconocen son los efectos adversos que puede manifestar el organismo tras un consumo inadecuado de termogénicos, sus compuestos pueden provocan el aumento de la presión arterial, por lo que cualquier persona que padezca hipertensión, problemas cardíacos debe evitar este tipo de sustancias. Con resultados, se sugiere que antes de iniciar el uso de estas sustancias es necesario seguir una dieta balanceada profesional y la práctica de ejercicios dirigidos al objetivo de cada individuo, para evitar cualquier daño a la salud, ya que estos suplementos tienen la capacidad de actuar sobre el sistema nervioso. amistoso y autónomo.Os suplementos nutricionais são micronutrientes industrializados que tem como objetivo evitar carências nutricionais, provocadas pela má alimentação, ele é utilizado por muitos esportistas como uma complementação de uma dieta balanceada. Foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica com o objetivo de conhecer os principais efeitos dos suplementos termogênicos, indicando suas principais consequências a saúde humana. A procura por melhor qualidade de vida, saúde e estética são um dos motivos mais frequentes para a procura dessas, juntamente com à prática de atividade física regular. Os termogênicos são compostos que tem a capacidade de acelerar o metabolismo, podendo ocasionar uma maior queima de calorias no atleta e auxiliando na perda de peso, o que muitos usuários desconhecem são os efeitos adversos que o organismo pode manifestar após o consumo indevido de termogênicos, os seus compostos podem ocasionar a elevação da pressão arterial, então, quem sofre hipertensão, problemas cardíacos devem evitar esse tipo de substância.
