Resumo: The present study aimed to evaluate the memory of patients who underwent the intubation process in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) due to complications related to Covid-19. Classified into Real Memory, Illusory Memory or Total Amnesia, data collection was carried out through a closed interview and through an instrument designed specifically for studies on memories of patients who stayed in the ICU, based on a previous instrument called Intensive Care Unit Memory (ICUM). In the discharge period longer than 6 months prior to the beginning of the research, 201 patients passed through the ICU-Covid, with 9 people meeting the inclusion criteria and 3 participating in the research. The survey was carried out by telephone, after accepting the Free and Informed Consent Term (FICT), seeking to identify if there were memories and what types of memories the patients had. It was found that 100% of respondents had Total Amnesia, a fact that leads to conjecture that there will be no significant incidence of PTSD, Depression and Anxiety related to ICU memories.

Research, Society and Development2022-12-15info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/3838110.33448/rsd-v11i16.38381Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 No. 16; e473111638381Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 Núm. 16; e473111638381Research, Society and Development; v. 11 n. 16; e4731116383812525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/38381/31856Copyright (c) 2022 Barbara Guedes Gimenes; Talita Leites; Aline Vaneli Pelizzoni; Luiza Bernardini Ferrarihttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessGimenes, Barbara Guedes Leites, TalitaPelizzoni, Aline Vaneli Ferrari, Luiza Bernardini 2022-12-18T18:26:42Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/38381Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:52:08.102354Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false
