Resumo: Aim: report the experience of implementing a game in the teaching of an undergraduate module entitled History of Nursing. Methodology: It is a descriptive study, in the genre of experience report, developed at a Rio de Janeiro-based private college institute. Results: a human-size board game was built with several guiding themes such as the biography of Florence Nightingale, her participation in the Crimean war, the institutionalisation of the nursing field by means of the St Thomas School, the diffusion of Modern Nursery with the establishment of schools and nursing categories, the field of nursing in Brazil, class entities and others. The building of the board game was based on twenty plaques made of ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA). This game was used as revision exercise, content practice and in-depth study of the aforementioned topics. Concluding remarks: The content of the History of Nursing is important for the formative process of practitioners, but considering it is largely theoretical, it is at times not seen or felt as attractive by many pupils; for this reason, the use of the board game became a specific strategy to deepen and revise this content in an interactive way.

Método: Se trata de un estudio descriptivo, un relato de experiencia, desarrollado en una institución de educación superior de la red privada del Río de Janeiro. Resultados: Se construyó un juego de mesa humano, basado en una encuesta de los principales temas a abordar, que incluyeron: Biografía de Florence Nightingale; Participación en la guerra de Crimea; Profesionalización de la enfermería por la Escuela Saint Thomas; Difusión de la Enfermería Moderna, con la creación de escuelas y categorías de enfermería; Enfermería en Brasil; Entidades de clase, entre otros puntos. Como resultado, se preparó una lista de 80 preguntas sobre estos temas. La construcción de este juego utilizó 20 placas compuestas de material de caucho de vinilo etílico y acetato (EVA). El juego sirvió luego como revisión, consolidación y profundización de los contenidos aprendidos. Consideraciones finales: El contenido del Historia de la Enfermería es muy importante para el proceso de formación, pero como es bastante teórico, en ocasiones no resulta tan atractivo para los estudiantes como las actividades prácticas, por esta razón, el uso del juego de mesa es se convirtió en una estrategia diferenciada y atractiva para profundizar y revisar estos contenidos de forma interactiva.Objetivo: relatar a experiência da aplicação de um jogo no ensino da disciplina de História de Enfermagem para um curso de graduação. Método: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, do tipo relato de experiência, desenvolvido em uma instituição de ensino superior da rede privada do Rio de Janeiro. Resultados: Foi construído um jogo de tabuleiro humano, a partir do levantamento dos principais eixos temáticos a serem abordados, os quais englobaram: Biografia de Florence Nightingale; Participação na Guerra da Crimeia; Profissionalização da Enfermagem através da Escola de Saint Thomas; Difusão da Enfermagem Moderna, com a criação das escolas e das categorias da enfermagem; Enfermagem no Brasil; Entidades de classe, dentre outros pontos. Com isso, elaborou-se uma lista com 80 perguntas sobre esses temas. A construção desse jogo utilizou 20 placas compostas por material de borracha de Etil Vinil e Acetato (EVA). O jogo serviu, então, como uma revisão, consolidação e aprofundamento do conteúdo aprendido.
